This notice covers the WeUniteAfrica company website and enquiries sent to our team. WeEducateAfrica and WeResearchAfrica are in development. This website does not provide product accounts or accept research submissions.
When you contact us
Our contact form collects your name, email address, optional organisation, enquiry reason and message. Formspree processes submissions for our team. Alternatively, the direct email link opens your email application; you decide whether to send a message.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry and continue the conversation you requested. Please do not send passwords, sensitive student records or unpublished research through a general enquiry.
Waitlist and product updates
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, optional name, product interests and your consent to product updates. You can separately opt in to opportunities to contribute to or join the team. We record the consent wording version with your submission. Contact enquiries do not automatically join this list.
We use this information to share the updates you requested. You can withdraw your consent through the unsubscribe option in an update or by contacting our team. We keep waitlist information while you remain subscribed and may retain a minimal opt-out record to respect your choice. Joining does not guarantee early access or employment.
Website access and service providers
Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and request logs to deliver and protect the website. Formspree processes form content and technical information to deliver submissions and help prevent spam. Our email provider processes correspondence. Those services may process information in countries other than yours.
We have not added advertising trackers or optional analytics tools to this website. Hosting or security services may use technical storage or cookies where needed to operate and protect their services.
How we use and retain information
We use enquiry information for the purpose of responding and managing the resulting relationship, rather than automatically adding you to a marketing list. Access is limited to the team and service providers involved in those purposes. We retain correspondence while needed for the enquiry or relationship and any applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Your choices
You can ask us about information you have shared, request a correction or request deletion by contacting our team by email. We may need to verify your request and consider any records we are required to retain.
